The ideal candidate is highly observant, detail-oriented, and able to remain focused in a fast-paced, high-security environment. Responsibilities: Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage to detect unusual or suspicious activity. Operate control room systems, including cameras, alarms, access control, and communication equipment. Maintain constant awareness of facility operations and immediately report incidents or security concerns. Document incidents, observations, and activities in logs and reports in accordance with established procedures. Control and monitor access points, including doors, gates, and sally ports, as directed. Dispatch and communicate with on-site personnel via radio and other communication systems. Respond to alarms and emergency situations by following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct routine system checks to ensure proper functioning of CCTV and control room equipment. Maintain accurate records of system activity, incidents, and operational logs. Coordinate with custody staff and supervisors to support safe and secure facility operations. Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and security operations. Qualifications: Must possess an active Arizona state unarmed security license. Minimum of one (1) year in CCTV experience in security operations, surveillance, law enforcement, military, or detention/correction. Ability to monitor multiple screens and maintain focus for extended periods of time. Strong attention to detail and situational awareness. Ability to navigate Microsoft Office products, specifically Outlook email, Word, and Excel. Ability to use sound judgment and perform job duties with minimal supervision. Must be able to provide proof of citizenship or legal US work authorization. If prior active-duty military, must provide copies of DD214(s) showing discharge condition. Must consent to fingerprinting. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check and security screening. Ability to pass a preemployment medical assessment and drug screening. Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in high-stress situations. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment: Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
