Summary of Position The caretaker provides year-round oversight and care of the camp and retreat center while maintaining a positive relationship with the community, renters, and the Board. Essential Functions
Hospitality Services: Ensures the campground is ready for guests; welcoming renters and assisting with check-in/check-out; serves as a point of contact during stays; and responding to needs, questions, or concerns.
Grounds Maintenance: Monitors buildings and property conditions; helps ensure guest safety; maintains roads and walkways; checks indoor and outdoor lighting; and oversees general upkeep of trees, grass, leaves, and grounds.
Facilities Maintenance: Ensures buildings are ready for guest use; maintains systems such as water, septic, electrical, gas, and pool operations; and services buildings, appliances, equipment, and tools, including seasonal winterizing.
