Timber Trader

Timber traders assess the quality, quantity and market value of timber and timber products for trade. They organise the selling process of new timber and purchase stocks of timber.

Core workflow

  1. Purchase, for further processing or for resale, farm products, such as milk, grains, or Christmas trees.
  2. Negotiate contracts with farmers for the production or purchase of farm products.
  3. Arrange for processing or resale of purchased products.
  4. Arrange for transportation or storage of purchased products.
  5. Review orders to determine product types and quantities required to meet demand.
  6. Maintain records of business transactions and product inventories, reporting data to companies or government agencies as necessary.
