# Tasks & work activities — artistic coach

## Task statements
- **[Core]** Direct rehearsals to instruct dancers in dance steps and in techniques to achieve desired effects.
- **[Core]** Read and study story lines and musical scores to determine how to translate ideas and moods into dance movements.
